2D experimental animation developed as part of my pre-major project, The Reward. The piece explores the tension between motivation and blindness in the pursuit of extrinsic rewards over teamwork and non - external interest for success.
Visually, the animation adopts an adventurous, loose, and sketch-driven style, allowing the movement to feel spontaneous and instinctive. Rough line work and fluid transitions reflect the unpredictability of the journey. This approach embraces imperfection, using raw, unfinished aesthetics to emphasise urgency, obsession, and the lack of clarity that accompanies externally driven goals.
